It doesn’t just stop at skis, boots, and poles. Ski areas won’t let you ride a chairlift without leashes on your telemark gear. You’re also going to have to get a pair of goggles and helmet too. Your also going to need skins and avalanche gear for your first backcountry ski adventure.
