The climbing at Lolo Pass begins lower down the road with The Heap (map at left.) The Heap has many moerate climbs and has easy access. Crystal Theatre offers up Gamma, Delta and Rho (along with other formations) there are 14 routes between these three spire that range from 5.6 to 5.12. Yet more spires are located up Fish Creek, call for more info.
Take Hwy 93 to Lolo, turn right onto Hwy 12 to East Fork of Lolo Creek road. This is to the Heap, continue on 4 more miles to the turnout for Crystal Theatre.
