Part of the Boulder Batholith with more than 50 granite spires along the west and southwest of the range, The Wedge is the largest of these. Most routes on The Wedge are crack system climbs but some newer routes utilize the friction faces.
Take I90 east to Butte, head south on I15 to exit 99 (Moose Creek) travel 3.5 miles on Moose Creek Road to parking area on let side of the road. Follow Moose Creek on foot 4 miles to the Spires.
