An easy after work float, easy access and easy water. Be aware of a diversion dam at the head of Jacob’s Island and Brennan’s Wave just downstream of the Higgin’s Street Bridge. There is a sneak for the diversion dam river right but still needs caution. When approaching Brennan’s Wave keep river left in the MAIN river channel.
To get to the put-in take E. Broadway east through East Missoula to Speedway Ave, take immediate left turn to Sha-ron parking area.
